The NSEA championships, held at Addington from 16 to 19 October, saw Mayfield field its largest-ever squad, with 25 riders representing the school across Dressage, Show Jumping, Arena Eventing and Combined Training competitions.

As well as the five individual riders’ titles, Mayfield’s rider teams were declared champions in the following categories:

  • National Team Dressage

  • National New Windsor Team Challenge Show Jumping.

The 12 titles marks the most successful NSEA National Championships in the history of Mayfield, an independent girls’ day and boarding school.

Jill Barker, Director of Riding at Mayfield School, said: “Across three exciting days of competition, the girls showed outstanding horsemanship, determination and camaraderie, supporting one another through both the highs and challenges of top-level competition.

“Their success is the result of hard work, dedication and a genuine team spirit. It was wonderful to see them grow in confidence, learn from every round and represent Mayfield with such enthusiasm and professionalism.”
