More House School are thrilled to announce that, for another consecutive year, their boarding provision has been awarded the highest possible Ofsted grading in every judgement area: ‘Outstanding’.
More House is the largest and leading specialist school in the UK, empowering boys aged 8–18 with literacy and language‑related SEND to transform their futures. They provide a truly inclusive learning environment grounded in bespoke adaptive teaching and specialist support.
In February, they underwent their annual boarding inspection, conducted by Ofsted’s Social Care department. Inspectors commented: “The structured, inclusive environment ensures that every student thrives safely and confidently” and “The actions of the school contribute to significantly improved outcomes and positive experiences for children and young people.”
Boarding is an integral part of the school experience. The provision is built on a close partnership between families and the school, ensuring each pupil feels secure, understood and encouraged. As Ofsted noted, “Parents highlight staff commitment, describing care as ‘second to none’ and noting the positive impact the boarding provision has on students’ development and their wellbeing.”
